CKAN API Request Builder

This is a tool to help construct a request to the CKAN API that returns package details in GSQ's Geoscience Open Data Portal. It provides a structured view of the reponse and generates a GET request string which can be copied and used in your code. The filter field values use SOLR query syntax.

There is a 6Mb limit on content pulled back through this tool per request, larger queries can be carried out with a direct call to the API. Select the checkbox for the field you want to display, the checkbox with label 'D' means descending order. Fields are only sortable if they are not arrays or multi-select options. The date range fields can do relative or absolute, the checkbox labelled 'R' toggles this. Faceted summary results provide an overview of the groups within the resulting data.
