New Economy Minerals Compilation Prospectivity Tool

As series of reports and tools were created by researchers at the Sustainable Minerals Institute using geoscientific information and interpretations as an aid to exploration targeting for New Economy Minerals. This work was completed under the Queensland Government's New Economy Minerals Initiative (NEMI). The reports can be found on the Geoscience Open Data Portal.

The online prospectivity tool was also created which allows users to query and modify the components of the prospectivity analysis for various deposit models.

The approach taken is based on the methodology established by Geoscience Australia, as described in prospectivity analyses for Ni-Cu-Co-PGE and IOCG Cu-Au-U-REE.
