GSQ Labs (beta)

A series of geoscience related web tools managed by the Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ) on GitHub.

These tools are often early stage products. They are offered under disclaimer and under continuous development. Feedback to geological_info@resources.qld.gov.au is appreciated.

• OCR Search Tool

  Optical character recognition has been carried out on 85K+ industry reports. The text from this process has been added to a search engine and been made available for searching

• New Economy Minerals Compilation Prospectivity Tool

  An online prospectivity tool created to allow users to query and modify the components of the prospectivity analysis for various deposit models. This work was completed under the Queensland Government's New Economy Minerals Initiative (NEMI)

• 3D Graph Tool

  A 3D graph display utility designed for interacting with various types of graph data.

• CKAN API Request Builder

  A tool for building an API request to GSQ's CKAN based Geoscience Open Data Portal. The tool returns structured data which can be saved to CSV or XLSX (noting aforementioned disclaimer).

• Validation Config Explorer for GSQ Lodgement Portal

  A tool that summarises the validation configurations for the GSQ Lodgement Portal as depicted on the GSQ GitHub. The tool provides a tabular representation of some of the JSON elements in the configuration.

• GSQ Vocabs Explorer

  A tool for exploring the .ttl format GSQ Vocabulary code on GitHub, this does not replace the source of truth for vocabs on our hosted vocabs server
